EVENT DESCRIPTION
"A mini 4-week training series with sessions specifically designed to help prepare you for
the racing season ahead.
Be ready for these workouts to be challenging. Put in the work and these quality sessions will form a key part of your preparations to Sharpen Up for Racing!
• There are three time slots available across the week so you can join a session that suits you ... Tuesday's and Friday's at 17:50 UTC, Sunday's at 14:00 UTC
• As these are structured workout sessions - each session will adjust to your individual FTP settings.
• Keep together mode will be ON
The workout series schedule
Week 1 - 14th-20th Aug - Tempo and Surge (recovery at effort and dealing with pace changes)
Week 2 - 21st-27th Aug - VO2 Break Jumpers (building the capacity at 105% FTP)
Week 3 - 28th-3rd Sept - 30/30's and 30/15's (working on punch and repeatability)
Week 4 - 4th-10th Sept - Race simulation (a mix of efforts to test each power zone)
Look out for further series being ran in between popular community racing events such as RDS and ZRL.
