Ride with Team Dimension Data for Qhubeka

Team Dimension Data for Qhubeka is opening up their training camp to all Zwifters — you can choose from 19 group rides during the week of Nov 13-19. And because it’s Team Dimension Data, you’ll be doing good in the process.

Participating in the training camp is free. But, Zwifters can choose to give if they’re so inclined. Donate to permanently unlock a virtual Team Dimension Data fan kit and Qhubeka Bike or give any amount. 100% of all donations go to funding real-life Qhubeka bikes.

The first team from Africa to ever compete in the Tour de France works directly with Qhubeka, a nonprofit that donates bikes to those in need in South Africa. It’s tough to overstate how critical bicycles are for these communities. 500,000 children need to walk two hours or more to school and the same to get home. A bike helps them complete a four-hour roundtrip in an about an hour. The result? Better attendance and much better grades.

Riders who join Mark Cavendish and Steve Cummings for one of these training camp rides will wear the Team Dimension Data fan kit and ride Qhubeka Bikes for the workout. The team’s goal for training camp is simple: to fund 500 Qhubeka Bikes. Hop on a group workout or group ride and show them your support. If you want to grab a seat on the giving train, every single cent helps make the world a better place and puts a bike underneath someone who needs it.

You can find the full list of rides on the here. And if you would like to make a donation, please do so via Team Dimension Data’s donate page.
